INSPIRATION IS EVERYWHERE

I hope you can feel my passion for color, family, laughter, and life.

I have been “a creative” my whole life. Growing up with a designer mom and diplomat dad allowed my sister and me to explore the world with a colorful lens. As a kid, many of my experiences helped me become the artist I am today. I ran down the sidewalks of Stockholm in red clogs soaking up the color and culture around me. I took fearless sleigh rides in Tromso, Norway, that filled me with the energy and passion I bring to my artwork every day. I strive to find and capture the bold, colorful beauty surrounding me in my art, which turns every moment into a fabulous journey.

After graduating from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Interior Design, I began my career at a Washington, D.C. architectural firm. The design work I completed at the firm was innovative and exciting and helped me hone my unique artistic style of combining art and design. Even more incredible, I met my architect husband at this firm! We have been chasing our dreams together from day one. We have two daughters and an abundance of gratitude. When we are not working, we spend as much time as we can at a little cottage by the sea in North Carolina. This special place has been a sanctuary to enjoy family and friends and has served to be a huge source of inspiration for my art.

As an artist and designer, wife, and mom, I am so grateful for the journey and the adventures I have enjoyed.
